For this hotel renovation, Teco was commissioned to provide the complete window-dressing solution for a 120-room hotel, including 3 meeting rooms, 2 conference rooms and 1 restaurant.
The project came with a particular challenge: the hotel was being upgraded from 2-star to 4-star standards, while the existing architecture offered very limited space for curtain systems.
Location: Switzerland
Service: Window-dressing solution
Client need: A complete upgraded window-dressing solution for a 120-room hotel, including 3 meeting rooms, 2 conference rooms and 1 restaurant.
Precision where space is limited
With only 12 cm of cornice depth, Teco developed a solution capable of accommodating both sheer and blackout curtains without compromising functionality or aesthetics.
Our technical expertise was essential to guarantee smooth curtain operation, even with the restricted installation space. The system was carefully designed to prevent the curtains from catching or rubbing against the wall during opening and closing.
From measurement to installation
Teco managed the project from on-site measurement and technical preparation through to manufacturing, transport and installation.
To simplify the process for the client, we also coordinated customs formalities and transportation, ensuring that every stage of the project was handled by one dedicated partner.
Our Belgian technical team was present on site for the installation and final adjustments, ensuring the systems performed exactly as designed.
Certified for hotel requirements
All curtains were produced according to the required fire-retardant specifications, with the appropriate ME certification, making them suitable for the demanding requirements of a hospitality environment.
The result
A complete, technically precise curtain solution that combines hotel-grade functionality, smooth operation and a refined finish, delivered within challenging spatial constraints.
